Why should I book here instead of Airbnb or Booking.com?
It’s the same house at a better rate, because there’s no platform commission. You also deal directly with the owner from enquiry to check-out.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from the afternoon and check-out is mid-morning. Walker Bay Villa has self check-in, and at Stanford’s Cove the housekeeper is on site during the day if you need anything. Ask us about arriving early or leaving late.
Can we book both Stanford’s Cove apartments together?
Yes. Book both villas to sleep 10 together, which works well for families or friends travelling as a group.
What’s included in the stay?
Every house has a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and a braai. Some also offer cleaning or laundry by arrangement, so ask when you enquire.
When is the best time to see whales?
Southern right whales visit from June to December, with the most sightings from August to October. All three houses look out over the water, so you can often watch them from the deck.
Are the houses suitable for children or pets?
Some houses suit families better than others, so let us know who’s coming when you enquire. We’ll confirm the house rules on children and pets before you book.
